Miss Mary McIntyre

Background
Mary McIntyre was born in 1966 in Coleraine, Northern Ireland and lives and works in Belfast. She was appointed lecturer in Fine and Applied Arts at the School of Art and Design at the University of Ulster in 1992, where she currently works on both the BA Hons. Fine & Applied Arts and MFA Fine Art courses. She has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally.
Education
She studied Art & Design Foundation studies in 1985 at the University of Ulster where she graduated with BA Hons. Fine Art in 1989 and MA Fine Art in 1990.
Research Fields
Her main research area is Fine Art, specialising in photography. Other areas of expertise include broader lens- based practice, as well as time-based practice.
